Aside from workshops and wellness programs, drumming is great in the performance arena! Lucid Drum promotes the accessibility of drum music to the public through live performance, studio work, and theatrical productions. Drumming is a great way to warm up a crowd before the main act of a concert, during intermissions and set changes, or to cool down a crowd at the end of a show. It can also be an enlivening main event! Drumming can be a very powerful addition to live theatre, performance art, or various other stage productions. It can help move things along at any venue or community gathering. See also Special Events.
For studio recordings, hand drumming can be used to create the backing element that brings the rest of the tracks alive! It can be added to almost any genre, from rock to reggae to jazz to hip hop. It can also accompany recordings of meditations, spoken word, and wellness practices.
